Advancing Autonomy, Together

I grew up around agriculture—not just the practice of farming, but the transformative impact it can have on communities. Through my father’s work as an agronomist, I saw firsthand how access to the right tools and markets could help agricultural communities thrive, opening up opportunities for families that had never existed before. It wasn’t just about increasing yields—it was about making farming sustainable, empowering communities, and ensuring long-term resilience. That experience shaped how I view the role of technology in agriculture: not simply to optimize yield at the lowest cost, but to empower the communities that have dedicated their lives to feeding the world. That same belief inspired my decision to join farm-ng—to build tools that make autonomy accessible, support the economic vitality of small and mid-sized farms, and shift the center of innovation toward those too often overlooked.

That’s why I’m excited to share that farm-ng is joining forces with Bonsai Robotics.

We didn’t come together out of necessity—we came together because we saw a bigger opportunity and knew we could move faster and further together. Bonsai brings powerful vision-based autonomy and a proven software stack. farm-ng brings an adaptable, modular platform trusted by growers, researchers, and developers. Together, we can now deliver smarter, more accessible tools that meet farmers where they are—whether they’re running a 5hp electric UGV or a 200hp tractor.

This combination is a natural extension of everything we’ve been building. It accelerates our mission to make autonomy practical, affordable, and accessible—for farms of all sizes. The Amiga remains a cornerstone of that mission, and with greater autonomy, broader integrations, and a stronger team, it’s about to get even better.

But this moment is about more than product—it’s about purpose. Agriculture has traditionally been shaped by policies that prioritized yield above all else. While that focus helped feed a growing population, it often came at the expense of food quality, environmental health, and the viability of the very farmers doing the work. We believe the future must be different—a future where technology lightens the load, restores margin, and makes farming more sustainable. Not just for scale, but for the people who grow our food. This merger strengthens that vision and gives us the means to deliver on it faster.

As a combined company, we’re now positioned to build a unified autonomy platform that spans form factors and farm types. We’ll orchestrate entire fleets across crops and terrains. And we’ll empower farmers with tools that help them do more—with less stress, fewer compromises, and greater control.

I’m excited about what comes next: a future where intelligence—not just iron—drives outcomes, and where farmers of all sizes are equipped to thrive.

Bonsai and farm-ng will now build that future together.
